Physical Requirements:
o Lifting 50 lbs. of weight on a regular basis.
o Climbing multiple flights of stairs / ladders while carrying work materials.
o Work at heights and within confined spaces.
o Must perform physical manual labor in outdoor environments, both extreme heat and cold conditions.
o Available to travel (by air and/or automobile) seven (7) days a week for work periods ten (10) concurrent weeks or longer (Spring and Fall outage seasons).

You support our team as
- The Field Service Technician provides the labor to inspect, demolish, and install metal and fabric expansion joints for various heavy-industry applications. Works under the direction of the FS Supervisor and FS Project Manager to complete work tasks as a team and individual contributor
- Under the direction of the project manager, install expansion joints at customer locations (power plants, refineries, etc.).
- o Lift, carry, and physically transport project materials and consumables to installed locations.
- o Demolish / install products containing non-ceramic insulation and fiberglass cloths
- o Welding, grinding, and other hot work on carbon and stainless steels (not required for all technicians)
- o Rigging and lifting of metal bellows to prepare for welding.
- o Represent organization as a model for safety and professionalism.
- o Meet and exceed customer expectations for on-time project completion.
- o Adherence to personal protective equipment (PPE) policies.
- o Follows the safety policies and procedures of the company and our customer locations.
- o Other duties assigned by the project manager
- High school diploma / GED
- o Entry-level, no expansion joint industry experience required
- o Laborer: OSHA 10-hour, OSHA Basic Plus, or similar; Site-specific safety certifications as required.
- o Welder / Technician: welding certification by authorized entity, in addition to welding examination administered at EagleBurgmann shop.
- o All positions must have technical aptitude, ability to work with and lead small teams to accomplish assigned tasks.
- o TWIC card preferred
- Must have strong verbal communication skills, and a professional presence at customer sites.
- o Team player: able to receive work tasks and provide feedback leading more efficient processes.
- Must be able to work under strict deadlines.
- o Initiative, resourceful, with a desire to learn more and advance within the FS team
- o Attendance and punctuality, meeting deadlines
