Queen of Wines is a North Carolina–based wine importer and distributor focused on representing small, family-owned estates practicing sustainable farming and thoughtful winemaking. We curate distinctive wines from around the globe and work closely with our producers to bring authentic, terroir-driven wines to the U.S. market.
We also operate our sister company, wineOlidays, which offers exclusive small-group French wine and cultural tours led by our owner and founder, Laure Levesque.
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and organized Marketing & Administrative Assistant to support both marketing initiatives and operational tasks. This is a remote, part-time role ideal for someone who enjoys creative marketing work but is also comfortable with detail-oriented administrative responsibilities.
The position requires approximately 2–3 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with flexible scheduling and potential for expanded responsibilities over time.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Communications
- Assist with creating and distributing monthly newsletters
- Help develop marketing collateral and brand materials
- Support social media content and advertising
- Assist with marketing initiatives for both Queen of Wines and wineOlidays
Administrative & Import Operations
- Monitor incoming wine shipments
- Assist with customs clearance coordination
- Prepare and submit import documentation
- Support general administrative tasks related to wine importing and distribution
Training will be provided for import-related tasks.
Qualifications
- Marketing and/or writing experience required
- Experience with social media advertising is a plus
- Wine industry or hospitality/service industry experience is helpful but not required
- Self-directed, organized, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Strong written communication skills

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
