Blushington is Hiring a Head of Finance (Hands-On) | Multi-Unit Beauty Brand
Blushington is looking for a hands-on finance leader to help guide the financial operations of our growing beauty services brand.
Blushington is a brick-and-mortar beauty concept offering professionalblowouts and makeup applications in beautifully designed studios. As we continue to expand — including growth through franchising — we’re looking for someone who can both run the numbers and help shape the strategy.
We are not looking for a traditional CFO or a traditional controller.
We’re looking for someone in between — a builder.
Someone who is comfortable:
• Running payroll
• Paying bills
• Managing day-to-day accounting
• Tracking royalties
—but who also loves building Excel models, budgets, forecasts, and financial insights that help leadership make smarter decisions. This role will work closely with the leadership team and will play a key role in helping Blushington scale.
What You’ll Own
Financial Operations
• Payroll management
• Accounts payable / bill pay
• Royalty tracking and collections
• Financial and Inventory record management
• Monthly financial reporting
• Cash flow monitoring
Financial Planning & Strategy
• Build and maintain financial models in Excel
• Lead company budgeting and forecasting
• Studio-level performance analysis
• Unit economics and growth modeling
• Provide financial insights to leadership
Systems & Scale
• Improve financial processes and systems
• Build a finance function that can support national growth
• Help prepare the business for franchise expansion
What We’re Looking For
• 5–10+ years in finance, accounting, or similar role
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
• Experience managing payroll and accounts payable
• Experience building budgets and forecasts
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable in a fast-growing entrepreneurial environment
Strong Bonus If You Have
• Multi-location retail or service business experience
• Franchise or franchising finance experience
• Experience managing royalty reporting
• CPA or accounting/finance background
