We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Service Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional maintenance and repair services across a variety residential and light cpmmercial HVAC. Duties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot a wide range of HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations on air conditioning units, boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, appliances, and other mechanical equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, HVAC design plans, and technical diagrams to accurately identify issues and implement solutions.
- Conduct field service visits to client sites to repair equipment promptly while maintaining high safety standards.
- Utilize welding skills for repair or fabrication tasks as needed on various equipment components.
- Maintain detailed service reports, logs, and documentation of all work performed for compliance and quality assurance purposes.
- Operate a driver vehicle safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment between job sites.
- Assist with property maintenance tasks that support overall facility operations when required.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems.
- Hands-on experience with appliance repair, boiler operation, ammonia refrigeration systems, and general equipment maintenance.
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by skills in welding, electrical troubleshooting (using tools like ohmmeters), and mechanical repairs.
- Familiarity with reading schematics, HVAC design plans, plumbing diagrams and technical manuals is essential.
- Prior field service experience working directly at customer sites is highly desirable.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of property maintenance procedures including air conditioning systems management is preferred.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments while maintaining safety protocols. Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
