Every year, 1.5 million patients suffer from Medical Adhesive-Related Skin Injuries (MARSI). Comfort Release has solved this. Our proprietary "switch" technology allows for secure adhesion with trauma-free removal. We have moved past proof-of-concept and are seeking a Commercial Architect to lead our national scale-up.
The Mission
As our founding VP of Sales, you will transition the company from founder-led sales to a national, process-driven commercial organization. This is a "Player-Coach" role. You will personally hunt and close Tier 1 IDN contracts while building the sales infrastructure for our future.
Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Hunting: Lead the charge in prospecting and closing high-value contracts with major U.S. health systems and IDNs.
- Sales Architecture: Design the roadmap for national expansion, including territory management, compensation plans, and elite-level recruiting.
- VAC Leadership: Direct the strategy for Value Analysis Committees to overcome clinical and budgetary hurdles.
- Sales Ops: Implement CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot) discipline for accurate forecasting and pipeline velocity.
Qualifications (The "Must-Haves")
- Experience: 10+ years in Medical Device or Health-Tech Sales.
- Leadership: 3+ years in a Director or VP-level role, with experience building teams from 0 to 10+.
- IDN Track Record: Proven history of closing multi-stakeholder deals with 6–18 month sales cycles.
- Network: Existing relationships within major hospital systems.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/Advanced Clinical degree preferred.
