Compensation: $70,000–$85,000 base salary + bonus opportunities

Position Summary
HilBilt-Lufkin Dump Bodies is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Outside Sales Representative to grow market share, develop new business, and maintain strong partnerships with dealers and end-users. This role requires extensive travel, strong product knowledge, and proven experience selling dump trucks, dump bodies, or work truck equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with dealers, fleet managers, contractors, municipalities, and other customers.
- Identify new sales opportunities and expand existing accounts within assigned territory.
- Conduct in-person sales visits, product demonstrations, and ride-alongs.
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and sales forecasts.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate order processing and customer satisfaction.
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer site visits.
- Track activity and pipeline using CRM and reporting tools.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience specifically in dump trucks, dump bodies, or work truck equipment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and product knowledge in truck equipment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and standard business software.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Established industry contacts within territory.
- Experience working with dealers or distribution networks.
- Knowledge of vocational truck specifications and upfitting.
