Compensation: $70,000–$85,000 base salary + bonus opportunities

Position Summary

HilBilt-Lufkin Dump Bodies is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Outside Sales Representative to grow market share, develop new business, and maintain strong partnerships with dealers and end-users. This role requires extensive travel, strong product knowledge, and proven experience selling dump trucks, dump bodies, or work truck equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with dealers, fleet managers, contractors, municipalities, and other customers.
Identify new sales opportunities and expand existing accounts within assigned territory.
Conduct in-person sales visits, product demonstrations, and ride-alongs.
Prepare quotes, proposals, and sales forecasts.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate order processing and customer satisfaction.
Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer site visits.
Track activity and pipeline using CRM and reporting tools.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of sales experience specifically in dump trucks, dump bodies, or work truck equipment.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
Strong mechanical aptitude and product knowledge in truck equipment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency with CRM systems and standard business software.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

Established industry contacts within territory.
Experience working with dealers or distribution networks.
Knowledge of vocational truck specifications and upfitting.
