This is a senior leadership opportunity for a results driven, relationship focused executive who understands how to build teams, open markets, and translate brand energy into sustained revenue growth.
The Role
The Vice President of Global Sales will own the company’s domestic and international sales strategy, execution, and performance. This leader will partner closely with executive leadership, marketing, and international counterparts to expand market penetration across specialty retail, national chains, and FDM accounts while building a high performing global sales organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute comprehensive domestic and international sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives
• Drive penetration into specialty retail and expand placement within FDM accounts
• Partner with Executive Leadership to align sales strategy with brand positioning and marketing initiatives
• Collaborate closely with the Director of International Sales to strengthen and expand global brand presence
• Lead, develop, and scale domestic and international sales teams to deliver profitable and sustainable growth
• Establish and track industry benchmarked KPIs to optimize performance, accountability, and motivation
• Provide accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts to senior leadership
• Actively participate in annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting processes
• Design and execute sales promotional programs including discounts, scans, and strategic incentives
• Leverage first and third party data to guide decision making related to market share and channel growth
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop sales talent through clear financial and performance objectives
• Lead weekly sales meetings for both domestic and international teams
• Partner with Marketing leadership to drive brand awareness and optimize channel performance
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners worldwide
• Represent the brand at trade shows and industry events through domestic and international travel
• Provide strategic input into sales incentive and compensation program design
What We’re Looking For
• Proven executive level sales leadership experience within sports nutrition, CPG, or a related industry
• Demonstrated success building and leading domestic and international sales teams
• Strong understanding of specialty retail, national chains, and FDM environments
• Strategic mindset with hands on leadership capability
• Data driven decision maker with strong forecasting and analytical skills
• Exceptional relationship builder with distributors, retailers, and internal stakeholders
• Willingness to travel as needed to support global growth initiatives
