Private Equity Operations Associate / Assistant Controller
Location: Remote
Schedule: Some Flexibility / Relaxed Hours
Compensation: $80,000 – $120,000 base (commensurate with experience) + potential bonus
We are seeking a motivated and intellectually curious Operations Associate / Assistant Controller to support the firm’s CFO/COO in overseeing the firm’s accounting and operational functions. This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting foundation who wants direct exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to grow within a dynamic private investment platform.
This is a collaborative position. The successful candidate will work closely with the other team members and external partners rather than operating independently in isolation. At the same time, the role requires the ability to think critically, take initiative, and contribute thoughtful ideas within a team-oriented environment.
GiantLeap Capital is an emerging private investment firm with a differentiated mandate: we invest across both private and public securities. As a small but ambitious platform, we operate with a unique hybrid investment structure that blends traditional private equity strategies with opportunistic public market investments. This approach creates a level of structural and operational complexity typically seen in much larger funds, including the formation and management of a significant number of co-investment vehicles (SPVs). For a firm of our size, the scale and importance of these vehicles adds meaningful depth and sophistication to our platform.

- Contribute strategic ideas and recommendations as the platform continues to evolve

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
