The Wilson Area School District seeks a dedicated and professional Administrative Assistant to join our team. As the Administrative Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for students and head of departments, offering exceptional service and support to ensure a comfortable and secure environment.
To succeed in this role, an Administrative Assistant must be observant, responsive, and approachable, with excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation.
Responsibilities
*The Administrative service assistant serves as a secretary to the manager of a dept and organization of considerable scope and complexity; may supervise and participate in performing highly complex clerical work; and performs other related duties as assigned.
*The Administrative Assistant will serves as a trusted personal assistant which require a close and confidential relationship with the manager or administrator served; an overall awareness of the activities and administrative framework of the organization
*Schedule and coordinate meetings across internal teams, executive leadership, and external partners.
*Generate and receive incoming emails. Type correspondence and documents.
* Supervise and participate in performing complex clerical work; and performs other duties as required.*Planning, arranging for and/or providing office support and related services to meet priorities;
*Organizing and maintaining office files; maintaining personnel records for the staff;
*Collecting cash, maintaining a variety of standard fiscal records and posting and summarizing financial data to report forms;
*Maintaining student records, gathering, maintaining and compiling information for business office and student service reports;
*May supervise clerical personnel and may take and transcribe shorthand dictation.
* Performs special assignments as requested and provides back-up relief when necessary.*Performs other duties as assigned.
Pay: $25.70 - $30.55 per hour
