This role requires intelligence, knowledge, talent, and skill, along with an affinity for images, words, and media. You will be responsible for selecting and arranging artwork, creating illustrations, choosing colors, and influencing the concept for the design. Strong communication skills are important, as you will frequently interact with other creative team members, such as production artists, writers, art directors, and creative directors.
Your tasks will also include conducting press checks and ensuring the quality and consistency in UI design deliverables, which can include mockups, clickable prototypes, design systems, assets for development handoff, and simple animations. You will collaborate closely with a Product Designer (UX) partner in wireframe and design decision handoff, as well as with software engineers on your team, focusing on smoothly handing off assets for development and facilitating UI reviews of the live code.
There is also an opportunity to upskill in design leadership through team process initiatives, lead communication with stakeholders, and establish UI design practices.
