Independent Appliance Repair Technician (1099)

Job Overview
We are seeking experienced independent appliance repair contractors (1099) to support a high-volume warranty service operation in Fort Worth and Arlington.
This is not a side hustle and not an employee position. This role is designed for technicians who want steady weekly work, clean routing, and minimal administrative friction.
All service calls are pre-diagnosed, and common parts are staged before arrival to support first-call resolution and high daily completion rates.
Compensation
(5 calls/day at $70 per completed warranty call)
- $70 per completed warranty call
- Consistent daily volume available
- Paid weekly
- No unpaid diagnostics
- No quoting or collections
Note: First week of completed work is held as a rolling buffer and paid the following week. Weekly pay continues thereafter without interruption.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Complete in-home appliance repairs based on pre-diagnosed service calls
- Service common household appliances including:
- Washers & dryers
- Refrigerators (non-sealed system)
- Dishwashers
- Electric & gas ranges
- Replace failed components and verify proper operation before completion
- Document completed work accurately and concisely
- Maintain professional communication with customers on-site
You focus on execution—not intake, approvals, or billing.Requirements
- 2+ years appliance repair experience required
- Ability to consistently complete 5–7 calls per day
- Own service vehicle and tools
- General liability insurance (or ability to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
- Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
Important Clarifications
- This is a 1099 independent contractor role
- No employee benefits (higher per-call pay instead)
- Not a COD-only or “take jobs when you feel like it” position
- No HVAC work
- Dallas-based routing is excluded
