Job Overview: Our company is growing, and we are hiring A Tech Mobile Mechanics. We offer a competitive salary that includes: Must have Trash Truck Experience,
● Salary Rate: $125,000-$140,000per year (depending on experience)
● Shift: Monday-Friday
● +10 Shifts
Responsibilities:
● Performs repairs and fabrication on chassis/body. Performs inspections, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, motor, suspension, A/C, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
● Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.
● Must be considered an A Tech
● Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software programs associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
● Reviews, completes or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
● Must know Hydraulics very well
● Perform Electrical Repairs
● Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
● Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
● Ability to effectively communicate needed repairs or tasks.
● Overhauls/Engine Swap
Job Requirements:
● Age: 21 years or older
● Waste Truck experience
● 5+years experience in heavy truck equipment maintenance and repair
● Welding/fabrication
● Travel is expected
