Texas Sports Academy (TSA) is building the greatest schools in the world for ambitious middle school student-athletes. At our schools, students Learn 2x in 2 Hours, Love School More Than Vacation, Learn NIL Life Skills, and Double Their D1 Odds. We're launching hundreds of schools over the coming year.
We’re looking for an Executive Assistant to support our executive team and scale our efforts. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-obsessed, and excited to work in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Academic & School Support
- Ensure each campus is on track to meet academic outcomes by:
- Coordinating with academics and operations teams to gather updates and follow-ups.
- Support communication between the executive team and school staff regarding academic timelines, requirements, and parent-facing updates.
- Maintain up-to-date records of students, parents, and additional academic data.
Executive & Operational Support
- Draft, proofread, and send professional emails and messages.
- Prepare and organize documents, presentations, and reports as needed.
- Maintain organized digital files, shared drives, and checklists for ongoing projects.
Design & Communications
- Create clean, on-brand materials in Canva, such as:
- One-pagers, flyers, social graphics, and info session materials.
- Parent communication documents and internal resources.
- Ensure all written communication (emails, documents, slide decks) is clear, polished, and error-free.
Communication & Follow-Through
- Respond to email and slack messages in a immediate, professional manner.
- Proactively follow up on open tasks, deadlines, and conversations to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Responsiveness and strong digital + verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as an Administrative Assistant, Operations Coordinator, or similar role (school, startup, or sports environment) is a plus.
- Meticulous working with data, documents, and designing graphics.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Skills & Tools
Must-have:
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive).
- Proficiency with Canva and latest AI tools (Nano Banana, Gemini).
- Reliable, timely communication habits.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in education, youth sports, or operations.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Notion, Google Sheets etc.).
Compensation & Schedule
- Compensation: $25-30/hr
- Schedule: This is a full-time, in-office position.
