About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with a rapidly expanding private equity–backed platform in the industrial and residential service industry to identify a Vice President of Sales who will build, lead, and scale a national sales organization.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a commercial executive who can balance strategic design with operational execution—establishing sales process discipline, CRM rigor, and a culture of accountability across a growing, multi-location network.
The company is integrating several regional operating companies into a unified, high-performance platform and needs a sales leader capable of driving consistent, measurable growth across both commercial and residential channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a unified sales strategy across all business units and customer segments.
- Build, mentor, and professionalize local sales teams, standardizing structure, goals, and metrics.
- Implement CRM discipline, forecasting accuracy, and performance dashboards to strengthen visibility.
- Establish sales incentives, quotas, and compensation programs that drive results and engagement.
- Partner with local leaders to recruit, develop, and elevate high-performing sales talent.
- Foster deep customer relationships with facility managers, GCs, and builders to expand market share.
- Serve as a thought partner to the CEO and Board, shaping go-to-market strategy and resource prioritization.
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of progressive sales leadership in field service, specialty construction, or industrial distribution.
- Proven record of success building multi-site sales organizations through transformation or rapid growth.
- Skilled in CRM implementation, KPI development, and professionalizing legacy sales teams.
- Experience leading both B2B and B2C (residential) sales channels.
- Strategic yet tactical — comfortable in both the boardroom and the field.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and strong influencing skills; thrives in private equity–backed environments.
