McKee Environmental, Inc. is a United States based company experiencing growth in the mid-Atlantic region. We are seeking a skilled, detail oriented Administrative Assistant to join our office team! This vital role offers an exciting professional opportunity to support daily back office operations, enhance field team efficiency, and ensure a seamless flow of communication between clients and our office. You will be assisting our current administrative team with all aspects of field management and accounting support.
Responsibilities

- Attend daily team meetings and prioritize tasks
- Handle data entry tasks with precision using computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Teams, and Quickbooks applications.
- Maintain organized filing systems—both digital and physical—to ensure quick retrieval of documents.
- Support calendar management by scheduling appointments, meetings, and reminders for staff members.
- Assist with bookkeeping duties such as invoicing, expense tracking, and basic QuickBooks entries.
- Perform clerical duties including proofreading documents, compiling and sending email reports, preparing correspondence, and managing incoming/outgoing mail.
- Contribute to customer support efforts by responding promptly to inquiries via phone or email.
- Assist with special projects or data entry tasks that require creative thinking, as well as strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an office environment with strong clerical or administrative responsibilities.
- Excellent computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Sharepoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and familiarity with data entry tools like QuickBooks.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Adaptable and positive about sudden variations in daily task requirements -based upon field and customer demand
- Strong typing skills and attention to detail for proofreading and document preparation.
- Experience handling VOI phone systems and practicing professional phone etiquette.
- English is required to serve diverse client needs effectively.
- Previous experience as a receptionist, project manager, service coordinator, or administrative assistant is advantageous.
- Knowledge of office management procedures including cloud based filing systems and calendar management.
- Customer service orientation with excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—ensuring positive interactions at all times.

Pay: $7.00 - $9.00 per hour
