About Faith to Flee:
Faith to Flee is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping women break free from domestic violence by providing safe shelter, emotional support, and the tools to rebuild their lives. Our mission is to walk with survivors through their most courageous step—leaving—so they never have to feel alone as they move toward healing, independence, and hope.
Role Overview:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and self-motivated Research & Operations Assistant to join our growing team of volunteers. This person will play a key behind-the-scenes role in helping turn Faith to Flee’s goals into reality—supporting the foundation through research, organization, and operational support.
Responsibilities:
- Research opportunities that advance our mission (e.g., grants, sponsorships, partnerships, and community resources).
- Assist with backend administrative tasks to help streamline operations and support ongoing projects.
- Compile and organize data, contact lists, and community resources.
- Support event planning, outreach efforts, and campaign preparation.
- Collaborate with leadership and other volunteers to bring new ideas to life.
Ideal Candidate:
- Passionate about advocacy and empowering survivors of domestic violence.
- Reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently.
- Strong communication and research skills.
- Familiar with Google Workspace, spreadsheets, or project management tools (or willing to learn).
- Excited to contribute ideas and be part of a growing mission-driven team.
What You’ll Gain:
- Experience in nonprofit operations and community development.
- The opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of survivors.
- Mentorship, teamwork, and a chance to grow your professional skill set.
