Overview
Vento Tax and Wealth Management Group is seeking a proactive, highly organized Executive Assistant to support the CEO, John J. Vento CPA, MBA, CFP®. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, family-owned business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Primary Focus: Type and manage daily correspondence for the CEO (dictation and drafting emails/letters).
- Act as “gatekeeper” of executive’s time and attention.
- Prioritize, anticipate needs, and even make decisions on behalf of the executive.
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations, articles, and seminar materials.
- Provide backup support for the administrative team.
- Prepare reports as requested, to support CEO.
- Serving as a liaison with clients and team members, by assisting CEO in managing the business.
- Manage calendar, business travel, meetings, and some personal appointments.
- Assist with event and seminar preparation, including materials and logistics.
- Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Assist with promoting wealth management business and recently published books.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an administrative or assistant role preferred.
- Experience in financial service industry is preferred.
- Able to type 70+ wpm.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Tech-savvy, knowledgeable in AI tools, adaptable, and able to multitask effectively.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable under pressure.

Job Type: Part-time
Base Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
