Role Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to handle all administrative matters related to import documentation, regulatory compliance, order fulfillment, and general startup admin needs. This is a flexible, part-time role (e.g. half days, Monday to Friday) with the option to work primarily from home. Occasional in-person meetings with the founders and team will be required.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations, enabling our lean and busy team to focus on growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Imports & Regulatory Documentation
- Manage import paperwork and coordinate with logistics providers, customs, and relevant regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore’s food import regulations and administrative requirements.
- Customer Fulfillment
- Support order processing, invoicing, and delivery coordination for both B2C and B2B customers.
- Monitor and track shipments, ensuring timely updates to customers and stakeholders.
- General Admin Support
- Handle ad-hoc administrative tasks typical of a fast-growing startup (e.g., recordkeeping, scheduling, basic reporting).
- Liaise with partners, suppliers, and service providers to ensure smooth operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Meticulous, resourceful, and independent, able to troubleshoot and solve problems without hand-holding.
- Prior experience in administration, logistics/import documentation, or customer fulfillment is advantageous.
- Proactive, reliable, and adaptable personality suited for a startup environment.
- Comfortable working remotely with occasional in-person meetings.
