Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Roadside Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential roadside assistance to motorists in need, ensuring their safety and helping them get back on the road as quickly as possible. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in using hand and power tools for vehicle maintenance.
Duties
- Respond promptly to emergency roadside assistance calls, providing support to stranded motorists.
- Perform basic mechanical repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including tire changes, jump-starts, and fuel delivery.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to diagnose and resolve vehicle issues.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the service vehicle.
- Document all services performed and maintain accurate records of each call.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols while working in various weather conditions.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as an ohmmeter.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure in emergency situations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
