The Computer / Communication specialist is responsible for first and second level problem resolution of the CUHSD desktop-computing environment. This environment includes PCs, Macs, Chromebooks, printers, computer operating systems and applications. This ideal candidate must have strong communication and customer service skills
Primary Responsibilities
Technology Support
- Performs installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and repair of site technology including, but not limited to, computers, phones, printers, Chromebooks, tablets, computer peripherals, software, and AV Equipment.
- Coordinates repairs of district technology with outside vendors.
- Installs and configures software applications for both PC and Macintosh computers.
- Assists in the maintenance, upgrades, and security of the District's various networks including Local Area Networks (LAN), wireless networks and access points.
- Resolve technology support request using the district web help desk in order while ensuring excellent customer service.
- Coordinates software vendor technical support to resolve to ongoing support issues.
- Provides clear verbal and written communication.
