NCVF Operations Assistant
Remote, Part-Time, Entry Level or Experienced
The National Collegiate Volleyball Federation (NCVF) is hiring a part-time staff member to assist the Director of Operations in all day-to-day tasks.
The NCVF acts as the governing body for collegiate club volleyball, serving over 1,000 teams and 20+ conferences across the continental 48 states, and hosting an indoor championship (largest collegiate volleyball tournament in the world hosting 630+ teams), a growing beach championship, and other events.
Job Summary:
The NCVF Operations Assistant will directly assist the Director of Operations to carry out administrative tasks relating to the organization’s mission. The individual in this position will help to facilitate the growth of the organization and collegiate club volleyball while gaining direct experience hosting large-scale athletic events, working with other people and organizations (clubs, schools, conferences, vendors, contractors, and local organizing committees, among others), and running a non-profit organization.
Responsibilities
- Administrative tasks including, but not limited to, managing team communications, coordinating sponsor/league relationships, attending Advisory Council meetings, and assisting with development and growth of educational outreach programs
- Multi-media work such as managing website, informational resources, and developing and updating graphics and marketing materials
- Assist Director of Operations and Bookkeeper with reconciliation of organization financials
- Work with Director of Operations to plan, prepare, and run the NCVF Indoor and Beach Championships through full event cycle
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of experience relating to volleyball/athletics administrative work, or High School Diploma and 6 years of experience relating to volleyball/athletics administrative work.
Preferred Qualifications include:
- Background in volleyball or athletics
- Specific background in collegiate club volleyball (player, club leadership, coach, official, etc.)
- Experience in graphic design
Working Conditions
- Position will target 15-25 hours/week based on time of season and organizational needs. Work schedule will be consistent days/times.
- Remote (with travel as needed)
