Marketing & Content Associate
The Marketing & Content Associate is a highly organized and adaptable team member who supports the execution of marketing campaigns across multiple clients, initiatives, and channels. Acting as the connective thread between strategy, content, and operations, this role ensures that projects run smoothly, assets are delivered on time, and campaigns align with strategic goals. The ideal candidate is both detail-oriented and creatively minded—able to manage calendars, optimize digital content, and engage communities while keeping an eye on analytics and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns (social, email, website, paid media).
- Manage content calendars across all major social media platforms; schedule posts, ensure brand consistency, and track engagement metrics.
- Support email marketing efforts, including drafting copy, building campaigns in Mailchimp, scheduling, and reporting on performance.
- Optimize video content for social media and web distribution to increase reach and engagement.
- Oversee community management across platforms, ensuring timely responses, fostering engagement, and elevating brand voice.
- Manage CRM systems to track leads, segment audiences, and support personalized communication.
- Support affiliate programs and partnership initiatives, including outreach, tracking, and performance reporting.
- Conduct one-on-one outreach to nurture leads, ambassadors, or partners, strengthening community and brand relationships.
- Coordinate with designers, writers, and external vendors to deliver high-quality assets on time.
- Track campaign performance, compile analytics, and provide insights for optimization.
- Conduct research into audience insights, competitors, and industry trends to inform strategy.
Must-Have Skills & Tools
- Strong familiarity with all major social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Facebook).
- Experience with video optimization for social and web platforms.
- Proficiency in Mailchimp for email marketing.
- Familiar with or able to quickly learn Figma (design collaboration) and Webflow (website updates).
- Comfortable using Buffer or similar scheduling tools for content management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and brand voice.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The Luminary Agency is fully remote with occasional opportunities for in-person work if based in NYC.
This role is structured to evolve into a Marketing Coordinator position, offering growth and advancement opportunities.
Work is largely deadline and project based making work time flexible with except of regular weekly check-ins.
