Position Overview
The Data Entry Clerk will play a critical role in maintaining accurate digital and physical records related to funeral and cremation services. This position requires precision, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately enter, update, and maintain records in company databases and software systems.
Verify and cross-check data for accuracy and completeness.
Manage digital and paper files in compliance with company standards and privacy regulations.
Retrieve data and prepare reports as requested by management.
Assist with administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and document organization.
Maintain confidentiality of client and company information at all times.
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless administrative support.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
Proven experience in data entry, administrative support, or office clerical work.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database systems.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
