Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technical support and computer management, with the ability to troubleshoot various refrigeration and commercial ice machines issues and assist in repair remotely and dispatching a service tech if needed and be responsible for service until the ticket is completed satisfactorily. As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of refrigeration systems while providing exceptional customer service and support.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for refrigeration-related issues, including troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Manage computer networking tasks related to refrigeration systems, ensuring optimal performance.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and other software tools for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with team members using help desk platforms like BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, or Jira to track issues and resolutions.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide timely solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical support or a related field with a focus on refrigeration systems.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
