The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in cultivating and maintaining the Messy community online and IRL. You’ll support the marketing team by helping create compelling content, scheduling posts, tracking performance, and managing programs designed to engage the community. We are looking for someone that thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment, loves working collaboratively and is passionate about building community.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
Social Media Content & Community Management:
- Assist in developing and implementing social media plans for brand channels.
- Ideate, capture, & edit high-quality content across platforms like Instagram & TikTok.\
- Schedule posts across all social platforms using tools like Later
- Monitor social media trends and provide insights for innovative content strategies.
- Lead community management efforts and strategy via TYB, social media channels, etc
- Pull weekly and monthly performance metrics across platforms
- Coordinate and track product sample requests for content creation and influencer partnerships.
Creator & Influencer Relations:
- Assist in outreach of UGC by content creators
- Manage monthly gifting program to influencers through GRIN or similar platform
Brand Partnerships & Events:
• Support the execution of brand partnerships and collaborations.
• Assist with the planning, coordination, and on-site execution of brand events.
PR Agency Communication:
• Liaise with PR agency to provide updates, assets, and information as needed.
• Review and approve PR materials to ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
General Marketing Support:
• Assist in the development of marketing materials and presentations.
• Support the marketing team with gifting, administrative tasks and ad hoc projects.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
• 1–2 years experience in a social media, influencer, or marketing role
• Proficient in social media platforms and native publishing tools (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Meta Business Suite, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of social media analytics tools (e.g., Meta Insights, TikTok Analytics, Google Analytics)
• Familiarity with content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom, CapCut).
• Familiarity with influencer marketing tools (GRIN, Tribe, CreatorIQ, etc.)
• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for beauty, lifestyle, and current social trends.
• Willingness to be on-site or travel for events and photoshoots as needed.
