Description
As Ara’s Sales Lead, you will be responsible for growing our existing accounts and developing new relationships. Today, we are indexed toward mobility-related use cases such as car top and EV charging displays, but we are quickly ramping up to meet signage demand from retail, entertainment, hospitality and commercial real estate companies. To effectively scale Ara’s sales and revenue will require someone who is experienced and well-networked in display sales, a collaborative team member who will productively liaise with our product, hardware, and operations teams, and a bold go-getter who is not afraid of building from Zero to One. Ara provides a collaborative work environment at a growing company and the opportunity to drive essential growth strategies. We’re looking for a team member that is highly adaptable, has excellent communications skills, and is digital a signage technology enthusiast.
Responsibilities
- Work with the CEO to develop a cohesive sales strategy, across channel partnerships and client-direct sales, which takes into account target client categories, Ara’s OEM partnerships and display catalog, and Ara’s revenue growth targets
- Refine and improve Ara’s existing sales channel partnerships
- Execute on a direct sales strategy through client outreach, conference attendance, and general evangelism of Ara’s product and service offerings
- Collaborate with our technology and product teams to ensure that Ara’s technology continuously evolves to meet our clients’ needs
- Establish a scalable, technology enabled process of tracking, managing, and reporting on sales opportunities, pipeline, and forecasted growth
- Work with the CEO and Financial Director to set ambitious but achievable sales and revenue targets that will drive FP&A
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a B2B sales role marketing consumer electronics to commercial real estate, retail, entertainment, media and/or hospitality companies
- Experience with developing and a willingness to establish and manage internal sales reporting technology (e.g. Salesforce, Hubspot)
