Role Description
This is a US Based Remote Contract role for a Part Time Full Charge Bookkeeper to start with room to grow into a Full Time position. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for day-to-day financial tasks, including managing financial statements, full charge bookkeeping including payroll, account reconciliation, AR/AP, Amortization Schedules, Sales, Payroll and State Tax payments, utilizing QBO and other accounting software, and maintaining accurate journal entries, etc. of TruePath Clients. The Bookkeeper will need to collaborate with team members remotely and ensure the smooth financial operations of the company.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in B2B full cycle bookkeeping & accounting
- Experience with full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, amortization schedules, tax payments, inventory, reconciliations and financial reporting required
- Advanced experience with QuickBooks Online required
- Proficiency in additional accounting software like NetSuite a plus
- QuickBooks Certified a Plus
- Nonprofit Bookkeeping and Financial Reporting a Plus
- Proficiency in data entry, spreadsheets, and financial software
- Ability to handle complex B2B transactions and reconciliations
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles
- Ability to accurately create and maintain journal entries
- Tax Prep Experience a Plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Experience with small & mid size business bookkeeping or related field
- Familiarity with inventory management and cost accounting for manufacturing or distribution businesses, if applicable
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance is a plus
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field a plus
- Must have a good Computer, Strong WiFi & Web Camera
Additional Valuable Skills:
- Experience with financial analysis and reporting
- Knowledge of cash flow management and forecasting
- Understanding of internal controls and fraud prevention
