Position Overview
As the Accounting Manager, you will report directly to the Controller and play a key role in managing the company’s financial operations. You’ll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting process improvements as we scale. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process.
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare financial statements and variance analyses to support decision-making.
- Work closely with the Controller to develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
- Manage and support AP/AR processes, payroll, and cash flow management.
- Coordinate audits and ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support the company’s growth initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA license preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including experience in a start-up or growth-stage company.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
