Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Bookkeeper to become an integral part of our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing our internal financial records as well as those of our clients, ensuring precision and adherence to applicable regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately record daily financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Ensure proper recording of transactions in the appropriate daybook, supplier ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Reconcile bank statements and verify the accuracy of all financial data.
- Efficiently process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Maintain an organized and current financial filing system.
- Support audit processes and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Provide assistance during tax preparation and filing processes.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Google Suite.
- Expertise in creating QBO rules for managing repetitive entries.
- Strong understanding of managing multiple companies and their financial records, especially concerning related transactions and fund movements.
- Comprehensive knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication capabilities and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Ability to prioritize daily tasks and ensure timely readiness of financial records for tax preparation.
