At Petnovations, Inc, our passion is pets and the people who love them. Our Social Media and Graphic Design Specialis will be responsible for providing value and support to our CatGenie community.
The Social Media and Graphic Design Specialist is responsible for creating all graphic assets used in marketing, social media, emails, website, apps, printed materials and promotional materials. You should demonstrate a wide degree of creativity and understanding of social media and social media advertising. In this role, you will have a hand in expanding the brand, developing strategic plans with cross-functional teams, and executing against a wide variety of creative and strategic business briefs and marketing channels. The Social Media and Design Specialist must possess a strong creative content production background.

What you’ll do:
Graphic Design & Storytelling:
- Develop new and redevelop existing visual assets for marketing campaigns and social media
- Update online website images and pages (no technical experience needed).
- Stay up to date on current editing trends and techniques, including related to social video, to enhance storytelling, and content performance.
- Recommend creative ideas and artistic knowledge to exceed expectations of goals and objectives
- Responsible for shooting, editing, and organizing/storing images
- Solid knowledge of software such as Adobe Suite and Canva to get desired results
- Develop videos and digital assets aligned with the strategic goals of CatGenie/Petnovations.
- Enhance brand voice, messaging, and visual identity across all platforms
- Strong understanding of brand architecture, visual identity systems, color theory, and composition
Social Media
- Aid in executing the company's social media strategy as part of the marketing team.
- Contribute to creating engaging content and visuals for social media platforms to increase brand visibility.
- Manage project timelines to ensure timely delivery of social media assets
- Assist in scheduling content to ensure timely postings and maintain consistency across channels.
- Recommend creative ideas and artistic knowledge to exceed expectations of goals and objectives
Social Data Analytics and Reporting:
- Assist in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and preparing reports on campaign performance.
- Provide support in interpreting data to derive actionable insights for marketing initiatives.
- Ability to use data and analytics to inform content decisions and drive growth of location-specific followers
About you:
- Experience in social media management
- Graphic design experience showcased in a portfolio
- Experience as a photographer & videographer
- Strong creative presence
- Cat owner
- A strong understanding of videography and photography, including shooting, editing, and producing digital video/photos
- Excellent communications skills; excellent computer skills; the ability to work independently and efficiently on concurrent projects.
