Director of Sales (Major Accounts)
Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Director of Sales (Major Accounts) to join the US Sales team, with a focus on the company’s storagesecurity product line. This position is a senior individual-contributor role, reporting directly to the VP of Worldwide Sales.
Founded in 2005 by storage and data protection experts, our client is the leading provider of security solutions to safeguard the Storage & Backup systems of large enterprises against cyberattacks. This client is proud to serve leading organizations worldwide, include many of the world’s top banks.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate, progress, and close new business at assigned key accounts (especially in the US financial sector).
- Work closely with pre-sales, sales management, product teams, and strategic partners to execute successful sales campaigns.
- Focus on winning new customers, and then continue to renew and grow those customers over time.
- Strong ‘direct sales’ focus, with excellent co-sell opportunities via leading partners, including Dell Technologies and Optiv.
Position Requirements
- Must have a track record of successfully selling either IT infrastructure solutions or cyber security solutions to large enterprises, including leading financials in the US.
- Must have strong existing relationships within major banks, insurance companies or other top US financials.
- 7+ years of enterprise sales experience.
- Proven ability to access and win over top-level IT management and CISOs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Travel regularly to meet with prospects, customers and partners.
- Location: Must be based in a major metro area in the Northeast (tri-state area preferred).
