Who you are:
You are an absolute sales killer who thrives off of hunting and crushing growth targets. You have a proven track record of getting new business and growing sales in natural and conventional accounts. You have incredible relationships with corporate chain buyers and executives, experience selling and maintaining shelf space at front end, and you have all the right relationships with distributors necessary to meet and exceed your sales goals. You know the ins and outs of Grocery better than anyone in the business. You have strong attention to detail yet love to get creative on ways to drive volume and build relationships. You have a passion to win and having the chance to make Ketone-IQ ubiquitous lights you up.
Responsibilities:
- Open new conventional and natural grocery accounts and expand existing accounts to deliver growth against Company sales and business targets
- Proactively identify areas for improvement or new opportunities among assigned retailers, and take action across distribution, product placement, merchandising solutions, and promotional effectiveness
- Build winning relationships with the retailers, broker, distributor team, and category managers to ensure top-notch execution and continued growth
- Execute promotional plans that drive positive gains and ROI
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop and manage forecasts, financial targets, P&L and budgeting for assigned retailers / accounts
- Offer strategic insights and direction for the development of assigned retail channels, customer/distributors, and sales strategies
- Directly manage key accounts, identify opportunities, build, plan, and execute within the distributor network
- Represent Ketone-IQ at retail meetings, trade events, broker meetings, and industry conferences
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7+ progressive experience working in sales and account management within the conventional grocery and/or natural channels
- Strong existing relationships with major conventional and natural retailers such as Whole Foods Market and Albertsons
- Experience calling on HQ accounts
- Experience with front end strongly preferred
- Experience from a high-growth CPG company, preferably shots or HBC/sports nutrition/supplements
- Experience with UNFI and KeHe
- Substantial experience with syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI, SPINS, etc.) and using that data to create a compelling sales story
- Proficiency in sales planning, forecasting, budgeting, and leveraging sales data to drive narratives and strategic decision making
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Team Player with the ability to mentor, train, and inspire a team to achieve revenue targets
