Established investment firm is hiring an experienced Accountant to join our growing team!
As a valuable addition to our team, you will play an important role in our fast-growing finance team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts; research and analyze findings to ensure accuracy of accounts
- Review general ledger details for operating and balance sheet for accuracy.
- Consolidate and analyze financial data for presentation to senior management.
- Identify and measure metrics and KPI’s to help improve financial performance.
- Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions.
- Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Controller.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or Business required
- 2-3 years progressively responsible experience in accounting
- Experienced with month end closing processes
- Well versed in the use of Excel Spreadsheets – macros, pivot tables, vlookups frequently used
