Key Responsibilities
1. Packaging Design & Retail POS
- Create and execute innovative packaging designs that embody the brand's bold and playful identity while appealing to health-conscious consumers.
- Develop high-impact retail POS materials that enhance the in-store experience and drive engagement.
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams to meet retailer specifications and ensure maximum shelf presence.
2. Creative Direction & Brand Evolution
- Lead creative direction for campaigns, including photoshoots, videos, and advertisements, ensuring alignment with the brand ethos.
- Strategically evolve the brand’s visual identity as we grow, keeping it fresh and relevant in a competitive market.
- Act as the steward of the brand, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
3. Digital Advertising & Social Media
- Design and produce engaging digital assets for paid ads, social media content, and email/SMS campaigns.
- Collaborate with performance marketing teams and agencies to ensure assets are optimized for conversions across platforms like Amazon, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Create visually compelling content that resonates with audiences and drives growth.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing and sales to deliver creative solutions that meet business objectives.
- Partner with external agencies or freelancers for specialized projects as needed.
5. Process & Self-Management
- Manage multiple projects with efficiency, meeting tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Continuously identify opportunities to elevate the brand’s creative impact.
- Stay updated on industry trends to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the team.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years in graphic design, preferably in the CPG industry with a focus on food and beverage.
- Skills: Expertise in packaging design, retail POS, and digital advertising.
- Creative Direction: Proven ability to lead campaigns, photoshoots, and branding projects.
- Digital Savvy: Strong understanding of digital advertising requirements, including social media, paid ads, and email/SMS marketing.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma; motion graphics or video editing is a plus.
- Brand Evolution: Experience growing and adapting a brand’s visual identity.
- Soft Skills: Strong communicator and collaborator with excellent organizational abilities.
- Education: Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field preferred.
