Objectives-Grow top line revenue through a mix of new and existing customers in all four areas of the USRL value chain-Meet or exceed volume and profitability targets for the Norfolk facilities-Develop and maintain an in-depth market strategy for key territory markets -Seek daily touchpoints with customers, community influencers, and industry touchpoints (average 3 meaningful touch points per day) -Respond quickly to new customer opportunities and drive them to completion-Effectively utilize the USRL CRM (Pipedrive) to maintain contacts, populate and track new opportunities, and organize customer outreach campaigns -Represent USRL at local industry and economic development meetings and events-Discovery of new opportunities and ventures for USRL to participate in
Requirements-3-5 years of sales or sales-related background-Rail Industry or Supply Chain Expertise-Effective communications both written and oral-Technical Skills (Email, Spreadsheets, Presentations)-Ability to travel (Up to 50% of work week)-Ability to work remote/home-Personal vehicle for travel, (allowance for vehicle)
