The Hershey International Team (global excluding USA) is on a journey to double our business over the next 10-years by bringing more moments of goodness around the world through our great products and experiences. You can join the heart of it all as part of the Hershey International Strategy and Marketing team (ISM) working with partners all around the world to drive strategy & performance, build global brands and deliver consumer centric products & innovation!
The Role
As a member of the Hershey International Strategy and Marketing team, the Brand Manager will play a lead role throughout the corporation. Working in Brand Management at Hershey’s means being more than just a marketer, it means being a total business owner. You will work on brand strategy, insights, consumer demand generation, innovation, managing P/Ls and so much more. You will be responsible for delivering goals and building the future.
This role will focus primarily on growing the iconic Reese’s brand around the world! This position leads the full funnel from discovery through to commercialization (including not limited to) developing strategy, building brand plans/reviews, driving strong execution and setting up the foundations for global marketing with the broader International Strategy & Marketing team members.
This role requires strategic and creative thinking, high ambition and resourcefulness and the ability to operate independently in a start-up like culture. This position requires strong marketing fundamentals and analytical skills to translate insights and information into plans and recommended actions affecting all major marketing variables (such as advertising, promotions, product and portfolio development, pricing and more) to drive the short term and long-term business growth of the Reese’s brand. This person must be a strong leader/influencer and project manager - as they play a key role coordinating with global marketers, cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure necessary actions occur in support of driving Reese’s growth globally.

- Leadership of Global Brand Building and Marketing activities for Intl. Reese’s brand
- Development of new initiatives from discovery and ideation through commercialization using Hershey’s process to achieve company sales growth and profit targets
- Strategic, annual, and marketing planning and periodic re-planning on the business
- Key stakeholder management and regional coordination to enable successful implementation of global initiatives across regional marketing plans
- Analysis of business results or directing such analysis
- Deep knowledge of the commercial, operational, and financial dimensions of the business
- Partnership with regional marketing teams, regional insights, regional sales and other key stakeholders to support strategy development
- External and internal assessments of the business environment, competitors, customers, market trends, and implications to the area of responsibility

Skills & Knowledge Required:
- Contemporary marketing knowledge and expertise
- Passion for International/Global Brand Building
- Experience with creative agencies and the ability to deliver strong creative feedback

- Strong general business knowledge and holistic general management approach with a value creation mindset

- Project management experience with proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment

- Excellent verbal and written communicator to a wide breadth of audiences, including senior leadership
- High proficiency with Nielsen and/or IRI is preferred

Education & Experience:
- MBA required externally; Internal Hershey experience in-lieu of MBA
- Min. 3 years (post-MBA) of related work experience (CPG Brand Management). 7+ min. years overall.
