A boutique marketing agency is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented HTML Coder to assist in crafting email communications for its growing and innovative firm. As part of a small but dynamic team, your role will involve creating pixel-perfect, responsive HTML emails while maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency. Job Type: Part-Time (20-25 hours per week)
Pay Rate: $40-$45/hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and code responsive HTML email templates that meet design specifications.
- Ensure all email designs render correctly across different email clients and devices.
- Debug and troubleshoot coding issues quickly and effectively.
- Optimize email templates for performance, including load time and accessibility.
- Maintain strict attention to detail to double-check and self-audit all work before submission.
- Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to understand project requirements and deadlines.
- Stay current with best practices in email development, including coding techniques and ESP capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in HTML coding, particularly for email marketing.
- Strong understanding of responsive design and email client limitations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to self-review work.
- Lightning-fast coding skills with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
- Familiarity with ESPs (Email Service Providers); specific ESP experience is preferred but not required (to be confirmed).
- Knowledge of email marketing trends and CAN-SPAM compliance is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
