The Web Designer at Negativ will play a pivotal role in crafting engaging, visually appealing, and user-friendly web designs that align with client objectives and brand identity. This role requires a combination of creative design expertise, technical skills, and an understanding of user experience principles to ensure high-quality, innovative deliverables. The Web Designer will work closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and implement web solutions that drive results and enhance user engagement.
Responsibilities
- Web Design & Creative Execution:
- Create responsive, aesthetically pleasing web layouts and designs based on project specifications
- Develop design elements that align with brand guidelines and enhance the user experience
- Collaborate with designers to refine user flows and site structure for optimal usability
- Client Collaboration:
- Participate in client meetings to understand project goals, vision, and feedback
- Present design concepts and revisions, ensuring alignment with client expectations
- Foster positive client relationships, ensuring satisfaction with the design process and outcomes
- Technical Proficiency & Optimization:
- Ensure designs are optimized for performance, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness
- Collaborate with developers to implement designs seamlessly across multiple platforms
- Stay updated on industry standards and integrate best practices in design and web technologies
- Team Coordination:
- Work alongside developers, content creators, and project managers to meet deadlines and project goals
- Provide design direction and constructive feedback to junior designers or interns
- Communicate effectively within the team to address challenges, needs, and project status
- Quality Assurance & Review:
- Conduct design reviews and ensure final products meet high-quality standards
- Test website functionalities and cross-browser compatibility, making adjustments as needed
- Address client feedback proactively to improve and refine designs
- Innovation & Trends:
- Research and apply current web design trends, user preferences, and industry advancements
- Introduce new tools, techniques, and concepts to enhance the creative process
- Maintain a portfolio of designs that showcases a range of styles, techniques, and client success stories
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in web design, preferably in an agency or creative environment
- Expertise in Wordpress, WooCommerce, and Elementor Page Builder.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma, Photoshop) and familiarity with other front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Demonstrated experience in responsive design and creating layouts for desktop and mobile devices
- Demonstrated talent for visual composition and brand alignment with an eye for design aesthetics
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, with a portfolio showcasing successful web design projects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey design ideas and collaborate with stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with basic SEO principles and best practices for web design

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000
