Claims Assistant Job Overview
The Weaver Adjustment Group is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Claims Assistant to support our claims team with daily on-site inspections, documentation, and estimating of property damages. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and willing to travel daily to various locations to perform key functions of the claims process.
- Travel daily to perform on-site property inspections.
- Accurately scope, photograph, and document damages for each claim.
- Assist in writing content estimates for property damages.
- Coordinate and schedule on-site inspections with relevant stakeholders.
- Upload all documentation, including photographs and reports, into the claims system.
- Provide support in handling various administrative tasks related to the claims process.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and insurance adjusters as needed.
Education, Experience and Skill Requirements:
- Ability to manage tasks efficiently in high-pressure situations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Willingness to travel daily for on-site inspections.
- Hardworking and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of claims processes and content estimating is a plus, but training will be provided.
