What You'll Do:
- Financial Record Management: Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- QuickBooks Pro Expertise: Use QuickBooks Pro to manage and reconcile financial transactions.
- Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Payroll Support: Assist in processing payroll and ensuring compliance with payroll-related taxes and regulations.
- Invoicing & Payments: Generate invoices, process payments, and manage vendor accounts.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for review by management.
- Tax Preparation Support: Collaborate with external accountants to support tax filing and audit preparation.
- Documentation: Maintain organized financial records and ensure all documents are up to date and accessible.
What We're Looking For:
- QuickBooks Pro Experience: Proficient in QuickBooks Pro, with a strong understanding of its functionalities.
- Bookkeeping Expertise: Solid knowledge of bookkeeping principles, including double-entry accounting.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy and attention to detail in financial recordkeeping.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Educational Qualifications: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Confidentiality: Strong sense of integrity and ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with team members and vendors.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with additional accounting software or tools.
- Previous experience in small business or nonprofit financial management.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal tax regulations.
