We are currently seeking a motivated Investment Banking Analyst to join our team. This is a remote role with in-person offsites quarterly.
Our Analysts play an integral role in supporting the team with live transaction execution, market studies, client coverage and business development activities, as well as taking part in key organizational initiatives to help grow the firm. Responsibilities
- Serve as an integral team member working collaboratively across all levels
- Attend team meetings and support management and teammates by preparing necessary materials and identifying action items
- Conduct research and gather information on private and public companies, including thorough market research, to identify potential acquirers or targets
- Assist with financial modeling in Excel and apply strong analytical skills to interpret data effectively
- Prepare and refine marketing materials, client presentations, pitch books, timelines and valuations in collaboration with other Analysts and Associates
- Contribute to business development initiatives and live transaction execution such as profiling companies, managing databases and analyzing market activity
- Actively participate in client meetings and calls working directly with senior leadership and building valuable client relationships
- Support project management efforts to keep workflows organized, meet deadlines and ensure high-quality results
- Manage multiple projects and workstreams efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all deliverables
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative team-oriented environment
Qualifications
- 2024 or 2025 graduate with a record of academic excellence with a Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business or a related field, from a top-ranked liberal arts college or prominent university (minimum 3.5 GPA and SAT score above 1200)
- Must demonstrate professionalism along with strong analytical, critical thinking, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines efficiently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word
