About The Role
We are seeking a Virtual Entry Level Assistant to support our marketing and operations team from home. This role is ideal for candidates in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania who are organized, proactive, and eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic remote environment. You will assist with content scheduling, team communications, administrative coordination, and digital marketing support tasks. A background check is required for all positions involving access to company systems and client information.
Responsibilities
- Assist with scheduling and publishing content across digital platforms including social media, email newsletters, and blogs
- Coordinate internal communications between team members, vendors, and clients on behalf of the marketing team
- Maintain organized digital filing systems including shared drives, project tracking documents, and content calendars
- Support the marketing team with research projects, competitive analysis, and summary reporting
- Respond to inbound inquiries from prospects and customers and route them to the appropriate team member
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, meeting scheduling, and document preparation
- Monitor social media engagement and compile weekly performance summaries for team review
- Complete ad hoc projects and tasks assigned by marketing leadership
Requirements
- High school diploma required; degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
- Strong written communication skills with a professional and engaging tone
- Basic familiarity with social media platforms, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
- Must pass a pre-employment background check
- No prior marketing experience required — full training provided from day one
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
