As the Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization through precise bookkeeping, proactive communication, and administrative support. This role is ideal for someone who is highly detail-oriented, has a solid finance background, and is confident in communicating with clients by phone and email in clear, professional English. You will help ensure our financial records are accurate, our client interactions are handled with care, and our internal processes support the overall success of the business.

Responsibilities
- Client Communication: Confidently communicate with clients by phone and email regarding invoices, payments, account questions, and other finance-related matters while maintaining professionalism and hospitality.
- Account Follow-Up: Proactively follow up with clients on outstanding balances, payment issues, and financial documentation in a clear, respectful, and solutions-oriented manner.
- Financial Accuracy & Review: Maintain a high level of detail in data entry, reconciliations, reporting, and recordkeeping to ensure accuracy and consistency across all financial activities.
- Finance Support & Strategy: Support broader finance and business strategy efforts by helping organize financial information, identify trends, and contribute to process improvements.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements, providing valuable insights for decision-making.
- Expense Management: Process and reconcile expenses, tracking financial transactions with precision.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance, supporting day-to-day operations and tasks as needed.
Qualifications
You should also exhibit a strong combination of the following:
- Mastery of English, with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence and professionalism when speaking with clients by phone
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with the utmost confidentiality
- Strong trust factor demonstrated through relevant experience and professionalism
- Fundamental knowledge of business finance and accounting principles
- Must be willing to submit references and complete a social background check
- Tech-savvy with the ability to adapt and learn new tools quickly
- Nice to have: experience using QuickBooks
