Position Summary:
The Business Insights Specialist is responsible for leading end-to-end analytics and business intelligence initiatives that enable data-driven decision making across the organization. This role requires strong technical expertise, deep business acumen, and the ability to independently manage complex projects.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Business Intelligence/Analytics Projects
- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable data models, dashboards, and analytics solutions.
- Perform complex data analysis, design KPI frameworks, validate data quality, and implement robust testing methodologies.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements, drive solution design, and oversee delivery from concept to deployment.
- Produce advanced documentation, training materials, and technical specifications.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert in BI best practices, data modeling, and visualization design.
Drive Cross-Functional Initiatives & Stakeholder Management
- Manage timelines, dependencies, risks, and communication for high-impact projects.
- Facilitate workshops, define project roadmaps, and ensure adoption of BI deliverables.
- Act as a trusted analytics consultant to senior leaders and business partners.
Advanced Analysis & Issue Resolution
- Perform deep-dive analytical investigations to support strategic decisions.
- Diagnose complex data discrepancies, trace root causes, and drive corrective actions across data pipelines and reporting systems.
- Recommend enhancements to data architecture and reporting infrastructure.

Process Optimization & Analytics Community Leadership
- Evaluate and refine internal processes related to data governance, product management, and analytics lifecycle management.
- Contribute to and help guide the Amplifon Analytics Community.
- Promote standardized methodologies across change management, knowledge management, and BI development practices.
Research & Innovation
- Monitor and evaluate emerging analytics technologies, tools, and methodologies.
- Recommend next-generation solutions aligned with business needs and data strategy.
Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or data engineering roles.
- Fluent in English, Spanish language skills are desirable but not required
- Strong expertise in data modeling, BI architecture, visualization frameworks, and KPI design.
- Proven experience leading analytics projects with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing and international environment – self-starter, proactive, structured, and highly organized
Required proficiency with tools:
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Composer).
- Familiarity with dbt, ETL/ELT pipelines, and modern data stack concepts.
- Proficiency with Power BI, Azure Analysis Services, DAX, and BI solution lifecycle management.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Git, and version-controlled analytics workflows.
- Knowledge of cloud-based analytics architectures and data governance frameworks.
- Experience with Python, PowerShell, Linux shell, and infrastructure tools such as Terraform is a plus.
