Our client, a public policy nonprofit, is seeking a
Graphic Designer to help recreate and extend existing print artwork. This is a short-term, freelance assignment with the possibility to extend. The initial workload is estimated at
approximately 15 hours, with additional hours possible depending on project needs. In this role, the
Graphic Designer will focus on
rebuilding lost production files and
creating design variations based on an existing concept. The work requires a strong eye for detail, print production expertise, and the ability to closely match established visual styles while thoughtfully extending them.
Key Responsibilities:- Recreate original print-ready artwork for a branded folder using a provided reference image
- Rebuild high-quality source files suitable for professional printing
- Develop a small number of creative variations based on the original design
- Deliver final files in appropriate print formats (e.g., Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop, fully packaged for print)
Experience & Qualifications:- 5+ years of professional graphic design experience
- Strong illustration and image recreation skills
- Proven experience creating print-ready assets
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to precisely match existing artwork while offering thoughtful design refinements
- Prior experience working with nonprofits or institutional brands is a plus
- Comfortable collaborating with internal stakeholders and print vendors
