Company Overview: ReadyPod is the rapid deployment housing division of BoxHouse. We operate a strategic housing reserve of modular homes that can be mobilized in days and configured to meet the demands of workforce housing, disaster relief, and a wide range of hospitality and operational applications. We exist to maximize the value creation of a growing pool of over 1000 units, balancing multiple bottom lines to generate leasing revenue, scale our operations for growth, and fundamentally change the way disaster relief housing can be delivered to communities. Role Description: The Head of Sales will report directly to the President of ReadyPod and will drive complex sales opportunities and revenue strategy and build out the capabilities and infrastructure supporting the sales team. This role will directly manage the sales team and will ultimately build and own a sales budget and sales-related marketing spend.
Key responsibilities:
- Own revenue performance across priority market segments
- Establish and manage pipeline health, forecasting, and reporting
- Drive our highest-complexity opportunities
- Build and develop a sales team
- Partner with leadership to set incentive structures, sales targets, and KPIs
- Propose pricing strategies to meet ReadyPod objectives
- Coordinate collective efforts across the sales team to maximize outcomes
Key competencies:
- Extensive experience in business development as a discipline
- Experience connecting revenue strategy to broader business objectives
- Ability to build, develop, and motivate a team
- Comfortable with the challenges of a limited infrastructure and unproven market
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 10+ years of business development experience
- Demonstrated experience building scalable processes, reporting, or internal systems in a growing organization
- Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder, or long-cycle sales processes
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM tools
- Effective written and verbal communication
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in government contracting, commercial real estate, disaster response, or operations/logistics
- Graduate degree or Certification in a related field
Location: Remote; 1-2x/monthly travel to 1) St. George, UT or Denver, CO to support planning, coordination, and team alignment, 2) industry conferences, and/or 3) business development on key accounts
