Position: Cloud Support Technician
Location: Remote (Work from Home)
Pay Rate: $19.23–$24.03/hr (depending on experience)
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Training: Initial training with a senior team member (may require a few days onsite in Plano, TX)
Job Responsibilities
As a Cloud Support Technician, you will play a key role in providing exceptional technical support to business customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Answering inbound calls and assisting customers with technical issues.
-Troubleshooting system and connectivity problems.
-Supporting VoIP (internet phone) systems.
-Assisting with system programming and updates.
-Uploading software remotely when needed.
-Escalating complex issues to management.
-Documenting all calls and updates in the system.
-Collaborating with the team to deliver excellent customer support.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
Experience:
-At least 2 years of experience in IT support or help desk roles.
-2 years of experience supporting VoIP technologies.
-1 year of experience working with data networks.
-Experience working with high-touch, premier customer accounts is preferred.
Skills:
-Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
-Comfortable taking calls and assisting customers.
-Ability to document work and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred:
-Experience with VoIP technologies and data networks.
-Experience working with business customers.
Additional Duties:
-Input all daily calls received into the database.
-Perform any duties prescribed by management as needed.
