About the Role
As a Yardi Support Consultant, you will serve as a client-facing subject matter expert, providing advanced functional and technical support to commercial real estate clients using Yardi. This role focuses on troubleshooting complex system issues, advising on best practices, and supporting ongoing system optimization across client environments.
You will work directly with clients and internal teams across the U.S., UK, and APAC, delivering timely resolution to support requests, guiding system configuration and data-related activities, and escalating complex issues as needed. This role combines hands-on system expertise with client interaction, requiring the ability to diagnose issues, recommend solutions, and support users in maximizing the value of their Yardi platform.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the IT Subject Matter Expert for Yardi Voyager suites of applications, such as Yardi Elevate platforms, CommercialCafe and other Yardi Elevate solutions, and other integrated applications (Procore, Argus, VTS, etc.)
- Apply business and technical expertise to analyze data, identify end-user needs, and support informed decision-making and process improvements
- Resolve complex functional and technical issues within Yardi environments
- Ensure all solutions and configurations align with client policies, procedures, and system governance standards
- Contribute to the corporate knowledge base to provide standard resolution steps
- Report status updates and risks to project management, senior management, and our clients
- Guide clients on system best practices and optimization
- Serve as an escalation point for advanced support issues, managing and resolving client requests through a ticketing system in a timely manner
- Perform system configuration and administrative tasks within Yardi, including user setup, security, and module configuration
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of Yardi system configuration and administration, including user security, role setup, and module-level support
- A high degree of proficiency and understanding of Yardi Voyager 7s, and Elevate products
- Experience supporting Yardi troubleshooting, configuration, or tier-2/3 support environments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues, evaluate options, and make sound recommendations in a fast-paced environment
- Must demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for learning and professional growth. A strong desire and commitment to continuous learning are essential to this role
- Flexibility to work outside standard business hours, including occasional evening shifts (e.g., 9 PM EST), as needed
Preferred Skills
- Experience in property onboarding or implementations
- Experience with Voyager 8 is preferred but not required
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and support junior staff, fostering a highly effective and productive team environment
- Experience with 3rd party integrations (ex. Procure, Argus, VTS, etc.)
- Previous experience in an on-site property management role
In addition to the technical skills and experience listed above, the ideal candidate for this position would be a self-motivated individual who demonstrates attention to detail, a passion for problem-solving and customer service, and is comfortable working in ambiguous situations and independently researching and resolving unfamiliar system issues. Must enjoy working in a high-volume, client-facing support environment.
