Our trusted client is looking for a highly skilled Director of Finance for a long-term engagement. This is a long-term position, offering the opportunity to lead key financial operations and collaborate closely with senior analysts and the operations team. The fully remote role will involve overseeing critical financial processes such as forecasting, budgeting, and reporting, ensuring the organization's financial health and strategic planning are supported effectively.
The day-to-day responsibilities include:
• Lead the quarterly forecasting process, ensuring timely and accurate financial projections.
• Manage the development and execution of annual budgets, collaborating across departments for alignment.
• Oversee month-end closing activities by working closely with the accounting team to review financials and statistical data.
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, providing insights to support decision-making.
• Monitor cash flow forecasts to ensure the organization maintains optimal liquidity.
• Collaborate with the operations team to analyze workforce productivity and align financial strategies with operational goals.
• Supervise senior analysts, providing guidance on data collection and reporting activities.
• Identify opportunities for financial process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
• Support leadership in strategic planning by delivering actionable financial insights and recommendations.
The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or a related role.
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
• Strong knowledge of month-end close procedures and cash flow management.
• Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data to inform strategy.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising analysts or similar roles.
• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
• Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
